Worst customer service on the planet. Too many bugs. To top it off, they want to charge you to fix them. A female member of my staff called their support manager via Skype and he hung up on her. Horrible ... just horrible!!!
The issues we're facing include email piping not working, unstable API connections, and end user functionality. Yes, the darn thing looks pretty. But if it does not work .. .then IT IS PRETTY FRIGGIN USELESS!!!
I was going to give them 4 stars but had to drop two because of the lack of support. We opened a trouble ticket back on 27th November 2017 and as of today, 12th December 2017, we've received absolutely ZERO response. Nonetheless, the addon is NOT completely broken. We've been using the addon since March 2012 with very few issues -- that is until WHMCS 7 series. Back then we only paid $9.99 for it and have been paying $9.99 for continued updates. Their declining support did not affect us as we had few issues. But now comes WHMCS V7.4.1 with all the great new functionality and it's time to upgrade.
We installed enom pro version 3.0.06 beta on WHMCS V7.4.1. I thought I'd share our experience.
1. The first thing we noticed is that the widgets on the admin home page will not load.
2. The addon successfully imported existing registered domains and their status from enom.
3. The addon successfully imported pricing for all 3 domain order types: register, transfer and renew.
4. The addon successfully imported and updated pricing for all enom TLDs.
5. The module successfully synced existing domains to clients.
6. The bulk import window conflicts with our custom themes because it opens to full screen from WITHIN an iframe. No issue with the default WHMCS admin template.
Our operating environment:
Fully functioning WHMCS Version: 7.4.1
PHP version 7.0.25
MariaDB version 10.1.29
version 7.55.1 of cURL installed
Not sure what's going on with the development team over at Circle Tree, but it is a damn shame that they've take such a huge nose dive on all fronts -- eNom Pro is not their only product/service. Is it worth $99? Only if you're NOT running WHMCS v7* or PHP 7*. If they ever come back from the dead, we would definitely continue to support them as we are still using the product. We don't care about the fancy homepage widgets (disabled them) and we sure don't care about a css conflict (fixed & customized). What we do care about is that when you spend ANY amount of money for a product or service one should expect to receive timely, professional support. That's the reason for the 2 stars.
George - you're spot on - we've open sourced the codebase - and I'd welcome any PR's to help update. I've relocated for a startup and things have obviously gone unmaintained. https://github.com/CircleTree/enom_pro
Kopage worked really hard to earn our best rating. How? Although the product is in its infancy, it is packed with a great deal of potential. Reminds me of the early days of WHMCS -- affordable, innovative and most importantly -- RESPONSIVE! If you're looking for a sitebuilder solution that has the potential to put you on the same playing field as Wix or Weebly then I strongly recommend that you give Kopage a try. Costs nothing to "kick the tires & take a test drive" and the monthly subscription fee is comparable to a cPanel or Softaculous license. All in all, I'd say it is worth the investment of at least the time you'd spend checking it out.
Great customer Support!
We've been using it for over a year without any issues. Our clients find it very helpful!
Works great with v7 and several custom themes.
Thanks for the feedback Miller
We've been using Modules Garden products for over a year now and have experience no problems at all. The service is fast and efficient. Highly recommended.
This the absolute worst piece of crap I have ever had the great displeasure of uploading to our server. We have honestly tried several different iterations and NONE of them worked. And let us not forget the very amateurish GUI that resembles something my 6 year old granddaughter designed. SHAME ON BOTH WHMCS & CHATSTACK for infecting the Marketplace with this garbage.
2 days after signing up for this "free 10 trial" and NOTHING! No response from support, no working videos, NOTHING!!! Worst service and support ever. Yet they want $25 to upload your logo, $95 for an animated 3 second logo, and $70 to sign up as a reseller. But the sad part is that I was ready with credit card in hand to pay the $25 for the logo if only someone (even the janitor) had responded to my support request. SMDH
Had to change my review from 1 to 5 stars. My team lead opened a chat with Rob Moore himself this morning. There are a lot of new and exciting things happening over at Demo Wolf. TBA after HostingCon. Mr. Moore was able to get us sorted in minutes and shared some really hot news. Once the videos were live and online, everything fired off without a hitch. Beautiful!
We have been using the theme for several months now. Everyone on the team absolutely enjoys working with it. $15 is a small price to pay for such flawless and well thought out design. Excellent work!
George, Thanks for you and all of your team ..Enjoy!
Very well documented and easy to install. Configuring multiple payment gateway fees is relatively simple and the latest bug fixes are a big performance improvement.
