The DolarToday v2 Addon automatically updates the VES currency in your WHMCS using the latest Dólar Bitcoin rate from the official DolarToday API.
This new version was completely rewritten to be faster, cleaner, and fully compatible with WHMCS 8.x and PHP 8.x.
Unlike the 2019 release, the module now runs automatically every 24 hours through the WHMCS internal cron system, ensuring your prices stay adjusted to Venezuela’s latest exchange rates, without manual intervention.
You can also set an additional percentage increase (from 1% to 100%) over the base rate to maintain pricing consistency or offset inflation. For example, if the Dólar Bitcoin value is 43.45 VES, and you apply a 10% increase, your system will automatically calculate 47.79 VES per USD for all products using the VES currency.
All configuration data is stored in a new database table (mod_dolartoday) for easy management, and the module provides a redesigned interface in the WHMCS admin area with a modern, clean Bootstrap layout.
Developed by the Canguro Hosting S.A.S. team, this module is open source and distributed freely for use and customization.
