What is Flock?

Flock is a proprietary messaging and collaboration tool, founded by tech entrepreneur Bhavin Turakhia in 2014. The app is available on Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS and Web. Flock allows users to configure external apps and integrations from the Flock App Store, and receive notifications and updates directly in Flock. Flock is a real time B-to-B chat operating platform, where businesses and organizations of any number, can get together and discuss, solve and inform day-to day workflows. Whether it's you and your team, you and your client or you and the whole organization. In a channel (Group) you can add people, and discuss various work issues, use 3rd party tools and apps created by Flock and other developers to help ease work and increase productivity. Tools like to-do list, polls, notes, reminders, favorites app and Google drive integration and many more.

Why do you need Flock Notifications?

The unofficial Flock notifications module for WHMCS give you the ability to receive notifications in Flock app with a setting rules that you can setup from the notifications section in WHMCS admin area. You may select multiple events within any given event category for example ticket, invoice, order, service, domain and API.

This module only works for admin staff. It doesn't work for your clients.

How it works?

After installing the Flock notifications module for WHMCS you need to register at Flock website https://web.flock.com and create an Incoming Webhook by navigating to the Flock Developer Dashboard at https://dev.flock.com and click Webhooks on the left then setup the webhook until you get the webhook URL after that enter the webhook URL in the Flock notifications module also you can add a sender username. From the notifications section you can create a new notification rule from there you can select a rule name and choose an event also you may select multiple events within any given event category for example ticket, invoice, order, service, domain and API. You can apply some conditions to the notification to restrict when the rule is executed.
