if gateway id is stored for the client and CC details are removed for the client from WHMCS, then payment will be captured successfully. But we can't sustain "gateway" after clearing the CC details of the client.

I recently did a test with the gateway where I input a visa and tested... Then I inputted an AMEX and tested it, however, it charged the Visa. I went to double-check that the card info was the AMEX and it is... How is this the case?
