Coupon Client for WHMCS

Auto-applies coupons to specific clients. No manual codes needed.

What It Does

Links clients to coupon codes. When that client views their cart, the coupon applies automatically.

Use cases:

• VIP client discounts
• Partner pricing
• Corporate contracts
• Loyalty programs

Requirements

• WHMCS 8.9+
• PHP 7.4+
• License key from ArkHost

Installation

1. Upload modules folder to WHMCS root
2. Setup > Addon Modules
3. Activate "Coupon Client"
4. Enter license key

Database table creates automatically. Hooks load from module directory.

Configuration

Auto-Apply Mode

• Silent: No notification (default)
• Notification: Shows message when applied

Priority Mode

• Client First: Auto-coupon overrides manual entry (default)
• Manual First: Manual entry wins

Usage

Creating Associations

1. Addons > Coupon Client
2. Search client (name, email, company)
3. Select coupon
4. Add notes (optional)
5. Click Add

One active coupon per client. Create multiple associations but only activate one.

Managing

Search/Filter:

• By client name, email, or coupon code
• By status (all/active/inactive)
• 25 per page

Actions:

• Activate/Deactivate
• Delete
• View details

Validation:

• Warns on expired coupons
• Warns on usage limits
• Blocks duplicates
• Prevents multiple active coupons

How It Works

1. Client views cart → hook fires
2. Module checks for active association
3. Validates coupon (expiry, limits)
4. Applies based on priority mode
5. Logs action

Client must be logged in. Anonymous users can't have auto-coupons.
