Discount & Promotion Manager For WHMCS is a WHMCS addon, installed and kept up to date through PD Modules, our free control panel for WHMCS, where it appears as PD Discount Manager.

PD Discount Manager runs real promotions in WHMCS: rule-based discounts that apply themselves at the cart, product bundles sold for one price, and free trials that convert to paid on your normal billing.

WHMCS gives you promo codes and a per-client price override. Neither runs a promotion. A code you post for new customers reaches the coupon sites within days and starts coming off renewals you never meant to touch, and a hand-edited price is one nobody remembers to undo.

A rule decides for itself who qualifies. "25% off the first year for clients who registered this month." "£5 off .co.uk registrations, three years or longer." "10% for anyone already running five services." It applies at checkout to exactly the customers who match, and stops when you say so.

A promo code is optional, not the mechanism. Give a rule a code and it only applies when the customer enters it. Leave the code blank and it applies on its own, to nobody but the people it was written for.

What a discount can take off

• A percentage, a fixed amount, the setup fee only, or 100% for a genuine first-month-free offer
• Off the recurring price, the setup fee, or both
• Fixed amounts set per currency, so a multi-currency install is not approximated
• Quantity tiers, so the discount grows with how many they order

What it can apply to

• A product, a product group, an addon, every product, or domain registrations
• Domains by TLD, by action (registration, transfer, renewal) and by registration period
• A value matrix when one number will not do: an amount per product per billing cycle, or per TLD per year per action, previewing each base and discounted price as you set it

Who it applies to

• Everyone, new clients only, named clients, or whole client groups
• First order only, or only when the cart already contains the products you name
• Only for clients who already own a product, or already run at least a set number of services
• Inside a date range, over a minimum order value, or above a minimum item price

How long it lasts

• The first invoice, every renewal, or the first few invoices
• Optionally on upgrades too, so a signup offer does not follow them up the range by accident
• Total and per-client usage caps, so a promotion retires itself
• Priority when two rules could apply, or stacking when you want them to combine
• Enable and disable a rule in one click, without deleting it

Bundles

• Several products for one fixed total, or a percentage off the combined price
• One shareable link that drops the whole bundle in the basket at the bundle price, with nothing to type
• Applied on every renewal, the first payment, or the first few
• Targets the right configurable option, so a bundle containing a tiered product prices correctly

Free trials

• Any product offered free for a set number of days
• At the end: convert to paid on WHMCS's own billing, suspend until they pay, or cancel
• One trial per client per product, one per client overall, or new clients only, so it cannot be farmed
• The order goes through at no charge, and WHMCS's normal renewal billing takes it from there

• An early-payment reward that credits a client's account when they settle an invoice before its due date
• A usage report showing which rule fired, for whom, how much came off, and how many trials converted

PD Modules is our free control panel for WHMCS. You install it once, and every module you take from us installs itself inside it.

• No manual installation. Nothing to upload, unzip or set file permissions on, for this module or any of the others.
• Updates apply themselves, so there is no file overwriting between versions and no release notes to watch. WHMCS has no native auto-update for third-party modules; this is the reason the panel exists.
• Every install and update is checked against your server first, for PHP, WHMCS and ionCube versions, and refused outright rather than half applied if it cannot run there.
• Every install and update is staged, verified, and only then swapped in. If any step fails it rolls back to the version you were running.
• Every build is cryptographically signed, and a download whose signature does not verify is rejected rather than installed.
• Uninstalling removes the module's own tables and settings and leaves nothing behind.
