ADAD SEO XML Sitemap

A sitemap that is never out of date

ADAD SEO XML Sitemap builds your /sitemap.xml directly from the WHMCS database on every request. Publish a knowledgebase article or an announcement and it is in the sitemap instantly. No cron jobs, no generator to run again, no files to upload.

What gets included

Homepage of your WHMCS installation
Knowledgebase: index, categories and articles
Announcements: index and every published announcement, with its date as lastmod
Store: visible product groups and products
Your own pages: add any custom URLs, such as static HTML pages outside WHMCS, so your whole site is in one sitemap

What gets skipped automatically

Hidden knowledgebase categories and private articles
Unpublished announcements and translation entries
Hidden and retired products
Anything you add to the Exclude list (exact URL or a prefix ending with *)

Built for current WHMCS

Tested on WHMCS 9 with PHP 8.3, also works on WHMCS 8.x
Uses the WHMCS route helpers, so URLs follow your Friendly URLs setting
Non-ASCII characters in titles are percent-encoded, as the sitemap protocol requires
Clean XML without priority and changefreq, which Google ignores

Admin page

The addon page shows every URL in your sitemap, counted by type, together with the setup steps. You can check exactly what search engines will see before you submit it.

Setup in 3 minutes

Upload and activate the addon
Add one rewrite line to .htaccess (the exact line is included)
Submit /sitemap.xml in Google Search Console once

Free to use on any number of WHMCS installations.
