TWINT for WHMCS (via Stripe) - IMPORTANT: Switzerland only!

Let your Swiss customers pay their invoices with TWINT, Switzerland's most popular mobile payment method.

This module adds TWINT as a payment gateway in WHMCS. The customer opens the invoice, clicks Pay with TWINT and approves the payment in the app: on a computer they scan a QR code, on a smartphone the TWINT app opens automatically. Payment takes place on Stripe's secure Checkout page, and the invoice is marked as paid in WHMCS with no manual work.

How it works

1. The customer opens an unpaid invoice in CHF and clicks Pay with TWINT.
2. The module creates a Stripe Checkout session for the invoice balance, with TWINT as the only payment method.
3. The customer scans the QR code or confirms in the TWINT app.
4. The customer returns to the invoice, which is already marked as paid, with the Stripe transaction ID (pi_...) and fee.

• WHMCS 8.x or 9.x
• PHP 8.3 or later with the cURL extension
• IonCube Loader 15
• A Stripe account with TWINT enabled
• Invoices in CHF
• A JetHosting license

Note: TWINT must be enabled in your Stripe Dashboard under Settings > Payment methods. Stripe verifies a few website requirements before activating it.

FAQ

Do I need a contract with TWINT?

No. TWINT is enabled from the Stripe Dashboard, which checks a few website requirements (legal notice, prices in CHF).

Can I use it for invoices in euros?

No. TWINT only accepts Swiss francs. For invoices in other currencies the module shows a notice instead of the button.

Are there amount limits?

Yes: from CHF 0.50 to CHF 5,000 per transaction, which is TWINT's limit.

Are renewals charged automatically?

No. The customer pays each invoice with the TWINT app.

What if the customer closes the page after paying?

The payment is still recorded, through the Stripe webhook.
