Iris Dark Mode gives the Iris admin theme in WHMCS 9.1 a dark mode.

It changes nothing until you want it to. Press the moon button at the bottom of the Iris sidebar and the admin area turns neutral dark grey, keeping WHMCS's own accent colours. Press the sun to go back. Each browser remembers its own choice, so every admin decides for themselves.

Features

• Dark mode across the Iris admin area: dashboard, clients, orders, billing, support, reports, utilities and settings
• Neutral dark greys with WHMCS's own blue, green, orange and red; coloured text is lightened just enough to stay readable
• No flash of white between pages
• Widgets and pages from other add-ons are covered too: any light box or hard-to-read text they bring is tinted to match
• Printed invoices and reports stay light
• Only Iris changes: admins using Blend, your client area and your emails are untouched
• No settings and no database tables; deactivate it and everything is exactly as it was
• Works with a renamed admin folder and with WHMCS installed in a subfolder

Requirements

WHMCS 9.1 with the Iris admin theme (each admin chooses it under My Account). Iris is a technology preview in WHMCS 9.1; if a later WHMCS release changes it, look here for an updated version.

Installation

1. Upload the contents of the upload folder to your WHMCS root folder.
2. Activate Iris Dark Mode under System Settings > Addon Modules.
3. Press the moon at the bottom of the Iris sidebar.
