WHMCS is one of the most efficient automated billing systems in the world for over a decade. Sadly, another accounting program/service has to be used to manage the various financial aspects of the company. Although WHMCS has modules available to integrate the billing/invoicing to various cloud based and system based accounting programs, there is none which is integrated within the core WHMCS Admin portal.
CloudAstrix began the CloudAccounting project for various clients in 2013. Majority of these clients were not in the ISP space, so module designs had to surround a general approach in order to suit a wide range of industries. This has enabled ISPs using CloudAccounting to expand their services by selling hardware, and having a tighter financial control by keeping records of their expenses.
CloudAstrix has modulized each accounting aspect. This enables the company owner to select which module is best suited to his needs and mould the Accounting system accordingly. Your cost is also broken down and you're paying only for the functionalities you need.
Ledger
No Accounting system is complete without the Ledger. This important accounting module is necessary to balance the books.
Bank
This is the base compulsory module of CloudAccounting. The module adds options of offline banking as most companies will have multiple banks other than just a payment gateway.
Suppliers
Another dimension is added to WHMCS by adding suppliers. This enables WHMCS to now keep record of expenses and inventory. This module is a must if you plan calculating your net profit.
Advanced invoice
This module parallels the one of WHMCS. The company can now simultaneously create an invoice for: a) a recurring service b) stock items with various quantities c) custom item
All the above will process as one order and one invoice. Payment methods integrates with WHMCS.
Expenses
There are various expense tracker module on WHMCS, and they're all wonderful. The CloudAccounting Expense module integrates within the system and inputs the data into a full accounting system. There's a facility to upload the supplier invoice for easy reference, and warranty claims.
Goods Received
CloudAccounting expands with WHMCS's stock feature. Having added suppliers, the module lets you receive inventory whilst keeping record of its purchase in the supplier and bank modules. The module adjusts the stock control and costing accordingly.
Inventory
WHMCS introduced a stock control feature some versions ago. CloudAccounting expands this feature to accommodate the diversifying ISP and various other industries which need inventory control. Easily manage inventory with this module.
