Overview

Clouder Reseller API is the official WHMCS registrar module of Clouder (clouder.ma), an ANRT-accredited .ma domain registrar based in Morocco. It connects WHMCS directly to Clouder's Reseller REST API, letting you register, transfer, and renew .ma domains — plus manage nameservers, EPP/auth codes, the registrar lock, and DNS records — without leaving your WHMCS admin area. Every order settles automatically from your Clouder reseller account balance.

Built specifically around the requirements of the .ma registry (ANRT), the module handles the mandatory registrant national identifier (CIN / ICE / RC) as a first-class field, so .ma orders that would otherwise fail generic registrar integrations go through cleanly.

• DNS Record Management — Add, edit, and remove A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and CAA records through WHMCS's native DNS management interface, fully reconciled against your live zone.
• Balance-Funded Orders — No manual invoicing dance: registrations, transfers, and renewals are paid straight out of your Clouder reseller credit, with a clear, user-friendly error if funds run short.
• Clear, Actionable Error Messages — API errors (insufficient balance, domain already registered, invalid transfer, scope/auth issues, etc.) are translated into plain-language messages in the WHMCS admin area instead of raw API codes.
• Full Module Logging — Every API call is recorded via WHMCS's standard Module Log, with your API key automatically masked, for easy troubleshooting.
• No External Dependencies — Pure PHP/cURL implementation with no third-party libraries to install or maintain, for maximum compatibility across WHMCS versions.

How It Works

1. Install the module and activate it under Domain Registrars in WHMCS.
2. Enter your Clouder Reseller API key (see Requirements below).
3. Assign the module to your .ma (and other supported) TLDs under Domain Pricing.
4. Sell domains as usual — WHMCS calls the Clouder Reseller API automatically for every registration, transfer, renewal, and management action, and settles the cost from your reseller balance.

Requirements

• An active WHMCS installation with cURL enabled (standard on all supported WHMCS environments).
• A Clouder Reseller account. Reseller access is not self-service and is granted on approval — contact Clouder to apply for a reseller account before installing this module (see below). Once approved, generate your API key from your Clouder dashboard under Domaines → API Revendeur.
• Sufficient balance on your Clouder reseller account to fund domain orders — top-ups are managed from the same dashboard.

Becoming a Clouder Reseller

Access to the Reseller API is restricted to approved Clouder resellers — API keys cannot be generated on a standard client account. If you don't yet have reseller access:

Once your application is approved, you'll be able to generate your API key immediately and start using this module the same day.
