Installation in 5 minutes

Download the module with the Download button on this page.
Unzip it and upload the modules folder to your WHMCS root directory, so the module lands in modules/registrars/domainnameapi.
Go to System Settings → Domain Registrars and activate DomainNameAPI.
Enter your Reseller ID and API Key from the Domain Name API reseller panel and save; your balance appears right away.
Run Utilities → Registrar TLD Sync to import your extensions and prices.

Module nor working correctly in WHMCS 8.9 and with PHP 8.1 many problems and support team not giving proper reply on module issue.

REST-only, faster integration: the module now runs entirely on the modern Domain Name API REST gateway. The PHP SOAP extension is no longer required.
One credential model: authenticate with your Reseller ID and API Key; every legacy username/password setting is gone.
TLS certificate verification on all API traffic, and a 10-second connection timeout with a clear error message.
No silent success on network failures: nameserver, contact, lock, WHOIS privacy, child nameserver and DNS changes now report a real error when the API cannot be reached.
Full DNS management for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records that keeps unmanaged records and TTLs intact.
Privacy-friendly diagnostics: credentials are always masked in error reports, with an optional minimal telemetry mode.
