The Porkbun Registrar Module integrates your WHMCS installation with Porkbun's domain API, enabling complete domain management from within WHMCS.

Register new domains, manage DNS records, configure URL forwarding, sync expiry dates, and import live pricing for 900+ TLDs — all powered by the official Porkbun API without leaving your WHMCS portal.

Domain Operations

• Domain Registration — register new domains with configurable period (1–10 years), custom nameservers, and WHOIS privacy applied at registration
• Domain Renewal — WHMCS handles invoicing as normal; Porkbun manages renewals server-side through its auto-renew infrastructure with optional cron-triggered API renewal
• Domain Transfers — inbound transfers are initiated through Porkbun's secure transfer portal; once transferred, all domains are fully manageable through this module
• EPP / Auth Code — auth codes for outbound transfers are retrieved from the Porkbun account portal, where Porkbun delivers them through their own secure interface

DNS Management

• Full record type support — A, AAAA, CNAME, ALIAS, MX, TXT, NS, CAA, SRV, TLSA
• Add, edit & delete records — full DNS CRUD from the WHMCS client area with real-time sync to Porkbun's authoritative nameservers
• Inline editing — edit records in place per row; no page reloads required

Nameservers & Privacy

• Custom nameservers — get and set up to 5 nameservers per domain from the client area or admin panel
• WHOIS privacy at registration — ID protection flag passed to Porkbun at the point of registration; Porkbun includes free WHOIS privacy on all eligible TLDs
• Registrar lock — transfer lock (clientTransferProhibited) is managed through the Porkbun account portal, keeping changes gated behind Porkbun's own authentication

URL Forwarding

• Add & delete forwarding rules — permanent or temporary redirects per domain, fully manageable from the client area
• Advanced options — path inclusion and wildcard forwarding support configurable per rule

TLD Pricing

• 900+ TLD pricing import — pulls live registration, renewal, and transfer prices from Porkbun's pricing API into WHMCS domain pricing with one click
• WHMCS TLD Sync compatible — works natively with the built-in Utilities → Registrar TLD Sync tool
• Markup support — import cost prices and apply your own margin inside WHMCS domain pricing settings

Domain Sync

• Automatic expiry sync — syncs domain expiry dates and statuses from Porkbun to WHMCS on every cron run
• Large portfolio support — paginates Porkbun's domain list API to handle up to 5,000 domains per sync run

Admin Panel Tools

• Toggle auto-renew — enable or disable Porkbun's server-side auto-renewal per domain from the admin panel
• SSL certificate retrieval — fetch the certificate, private key, and intermediate bundle for any domain; Porkbun provides free SSL on all eligible domains
• Test connection — verify API credentials and connectivity from the registrar configuration page
• Debug TLD import — run a sample pricing import and inspect raw API output directly from the admin panel

Developer & Debug
