Collect & Protect customer information with the WHMCS Support Module. The WHMCS Support Module is an add-on module that will provide a secure area for your customers to share sensitive information like service passwords or application details with your support team. Most WHMCS users use no encryption or a simple text box for users to enter details about their services, this is insecure and looks unprofessional. It does not promote your business as caring about your customer's data. With WHMCS Support Module Pro, users can share any information in a secure form, the information is then encrypted using a unique encryption key chosen by you. Information left by customers is then automatically decrypted and displayed directly on the WHMCS ticket using the unique "Credentials" tab. The end-user can choose to remove the details or, once the ticket has been marked as completed and closed the WHMCS Support Module will remove the details from your database automatically.
The WHMCS Support Module can be used in any language by editing the included lang file. Change the text seen frontend to your local language or update the text displayed on a button.
Pro installs can help ensure that your support team has all the correct information to deal with your customer's support issue right out of the gate. By enabling the automatically collect credentials option after ticket submission your customer is taken directly to the credentials form. You can restrict who sees the credentials form by department. If you have a sales department you can exclude tickets submitted to this department from being taken to the credentials form.
Should your customer not complete the credentials form after ticket submission, Pro can post an update to the WHMCS ticket with a custom message reminding your customer to leave credentials for your support team. This reminder can be based on the department the ticket was posted to, the ticket status, and you can even choose what WHMCS administrator is used to post the message.
The WHMCS Support Module decrypts any information left by your customer when one of your support team members click the unique "Credentials" tab which is installed on the WHMCS ticket. This allows you to switch between the "Add Reply" and "Credentials" tabs with ease.
If enabled in the Pro configuration, the module deploys an "Urgent" button to the support ticket sidebar. Should your customer need immediate or emergency assistance they can flag the WHMCS ticket as urgent which notifies all WHMCS administrators your customer needs assistance.
If your customer is unhappy with the service they have received usually they will cancel. the module can help to prevent this by deploying an "Escalate" button to the WHMCS support sidebar so your customer can choose to escalate their ticket to a manager allowing you to resolve problems before the customer cancels their service.
With the ticket updater feature, the WHMCS Support Module can automatically update tickets with a custom message based on department and ticket status. Some of the uses of this feature could be;

You can choose what information you collect from your customers by editing the credentials form. The credentials form allows for text boxes, text areas, and password field types. You can hide unused sections and update the name of the fields to anything required.
The module will email WHMCS administrators when certain events happen. When your customer completes the credentials form the module can set that ticket status to a custom value and will also email all administrators notifying your support team information has been attached to that ticket.
No two installs of the WHMCS Support Module are the same. To increase security you choose your encryption key which is used to encrypt and decrypt your customer's information.

This module offers some cool features but I had problems trying to install it. I had to ask for support to get it working. This was fixed quickly and now im using it its a great module. I think you could make the install a bit easier.

Thanks for the feedback! We've updated the install instructions to point out the problem you had. This was reported by another user too. It happens on cPanel servers that run PHP in CGI mode. When you upload files and folders the server should set the correct ownership and permissions. In some cases, on cPanel servers, this doesn't happen. As a consequence when you visit the WSC UI the page loads without its style sheet. When checking the ownership of the tickets_credentials file you will notice the owner of the folder is the cPanel user. In a CGI environment, this is wrong. The owner should be "nobody" (gid/uid 99). The permissions should also be 755 and not 644. Updating these details fixes the issue. We've also created a blog post with instructions on how to check the ownership and permissions of files using the stat command. This issue does not affect DirectAdmin servers. It's only been noted on cPanel servers at the moment.

I mainly purchased WSC Pro for the IP logging features. It appears that the plugin has a conflict with any other plugin that creates a new tab under the client profile page (from the admin area).
I've reached out to the developer who has advised that an update will be eventually released. It's been a month since I originally reached out and there have been no updates. This should have been relatively easy to implement.
I did reach out recently asking for an update, however, my ticket was closed with no response. He also refused to offer ar refund.

We would not offer a refund for something that is caused by an external piece of software and we do not offer refunds for downloadable software unless the issue is caused by WSC, which this is not. We are happy to come up with a fix for this because you have a WSC Pro license but we're not going to push out an update just for you. It's only been two months since WSC V2.0 was released. We release two updates a year. In the meantime, this doesn't affect the basic working of the module and you already have a request for this on the feature request site. You can disable the module that causes the conflict if required to restore the full functionality of WSC.

Worst the company and support staff. They have ZERO/ZERO support. I bought in Nov 21.More than 3 months, Not funcioning proper till now. Website is showing support for v8.x , support staff says it support only V8.0 and wait for next release. When next release come , says wait for next V2. 0 that will support v8.3. When V2.0 come , says wait for next release. The WHMCS v8.4 come , website is showing but staff says:
If you are polite and not an idiot when you contact us then we will be happy to provide you with a new 6-month license for free. Unfortunately, when you have contacted us in the past you have been rude and obnoxious which doesn't really make us want to help you. As you can see, we have now updated to WHMCS V8.3 and we have WSC V2.0 running on our production area which means the release of WSC v2.0 is imminent for you.

You tested by only once in starting when ticket was open. After that you never login WHMCS admin.
You wrote suggestions for doing when I wrote you reply of writing me abuse word without login admin . And now you have also prooved your cheap mentally again after writing me abuse here in public platform.
You forced me to cancel the license.

When you update your WHMCS to V8.4 before we have tested it, then submit tickets to us, shouting, swearing and complaining it's our fault that it doesn't work you can expect us to terminate your license. You reported a bug that we cannot replicate in our development area. Obviously, you're running a 3rd party piece of software that is interfering with WSC. We asked you to perform some simple steps to find out which software was the problem. You didn't do this and you expected us to complete this for you. We are not here to wipe your arse. Especially when you haven't paid for a license. We suggest you try one of the substandard modules out there.

I was using the free version and I received a 50% off discount code for the pro version. Pro is much better and has far more features. The free version is very restrictive but does the job for hosts who i think the module was originally build for. With pro you can change the form fields to collect any type of details from your users. Neat but expensive at full price.
